SHOW WETHERS
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL 2009 WETHER BUYERS - ALL THE 2009 KIDS HAVE BEEN SOLD - 2010 SHOULD BEGIN ARRIVING MID MARCH
It is our desire to provide a good, sound, and healthy wether that has the potential to compete in the show ring. Prior to leaving the farm, all animals will have had their CD&T vaccination, and will be wormed, and typically disbudded.
Raising a good quality show wether from the breeding of, through the weaning phase is only halfway to getting there. Beyond that, there must be a high level of dedication to working with these wethers, from the day they are taken home, to the end of the show season. This means training to handle, lead, brace, and lots of daily exercise.
All this is in addition to providing good clean fresh water at all times, in conjunction to having a good proper nutritional feeding program targeted to optimize the genetic potential of each wether.
For the most part, I will let my photos provide the overall description of each wether. If additional photos or information are wanted, we will be happy to provide this for you as well.
