Our desire is to become one of the leading providers of show quality meat goats that can compete in the show ring.
Southern Bluff offers show wethers, replacement does, and select bucks for showing, wether sires, and commercial herds.
Here on the "Southern Bluff" of the Red River, in North Central Texas, we have been raising goats since 1997. Our involvement in the livestock show arena for a number of years has brought us to raising show quality meat goats as our primary focus.
Although, we have not personally pursued competition in the show ring with our goats, due to other committments, we do attend shows, evaluate, and commit our best in providing quality animals for others to compete with. This just means more choice show goats will go to you.
In the process of building and maintaining a flock of quality goats, our secondary focus has been incorporating color. Having a limited amount of space to operate requires us to be more selective in our acquired stock and breeding program.
We hope that what we have to provide will be a complement to your breeding program, or just the right 4H or FFA project for the show ring.
Raising good quality goats has been a learning process, and has been an enjoyable challenge to produce something better as each year passes.
